The Van Weelde Shipping Group is a group of companies that are primarily involved in various kinds of commercial shipping activities like shipbroking, chartering, owning, operating, agency, crewing, technical management and other aspects of dry cargo shipping movements on a world wide basis.
These activities are undertaken for own account or for account of third parties.

The group was founded in November 1964 and has always had it's headoffice in the City of Rotterdam until the group shifted to Capelle a/d IJssel, just one hundred meters away from the East-Rotterdam border, during the spring of 2008.
